Happy New Year!

When I was younger people used to always tell me how fast time moves when you get older, and they were right. I have made it through another year. 2016 was full of trials but there were good times too, however; change does not happen over night. Change takes time along with growth and knowledge. The older you get the more you learn. This year and every year going forward I hope for positivity, success, happiness, blessings, etc. I'm claiming that 2017 will be a good and prosperous year for me and for all of you as well. xoxo. Self-love

So I haven't posted in a while and I wanted to weigh in on whats been going on lately. It's November so this year is almost over. Time flies. As I reflect on this year I realized that the hardest times helped me grow the most. I have been faced with some challenges this year, but here I am still here stronger and smarter. I also think tough situations help you become more intuitive. I love to look back and see how much I've grown because then I know that anything I went through was worth it...it wasn't a waste of energy or time. Yesterday I decided to take some pictures on my Polaroid and they came out so beautiful. A lesson I learned this year is how important self-love is. Do not forget about yourself. Make time for yourself. Treat yourself and remember that self-love is not selfish. You can still love yourself and love others as well. Make peace with yourself, become one with yourself and everything else will follow accordingly.

Military chic

I have always loved idea of adding camouflage clothes into my daily wardrobe so I finally went ahead and did it. I have always thought camouflage pants can be worn far beyond the battlefield; dressed up or down. I ordered these pants online hoping they wouldn't be too big and they fit so perfect; high waist at the top and baggy at the bottom. I dressed these pants up with some gray booties, a gold and black belt, a green lace bra, and a beige sweater. I also plan to wear these as a chill fit with some nike's and an over sized sweater, but I definitely plan to dress them up again.
